Chiller price is between 1k - 1.3k for hailea 150a or resun (I not sure which model) Their power consumption and quality is diff Don't just look at the purchase price because electricity bill and maintainance will cause you more Try google more forums related to chiller (widely used in marine tank)  |

rainbars are a clutter! dont like so many hoses or tubings in the tank. inlet + outlet + co2 diffusor. clean looking tank. very nais!

Rm850 for new or used?
Higher power= cooling faster << BUT highly dependent on your compressor efficiency Rated power is for during cooling process. So if your water is cold enough, compressor stop = much less power consumed as what I know, chiller doesn't have internal pump So if your input water too fast, chiller not able to cool water down then water already go back to tank. So not much efficient Hailea 150a is only suitable up to 3feet If you planning for future use, pls go higher power |
