with right condition and sufficient light it should grow fast... if you want it grow slow... just lower down your co2, please take note... algae will attack haha!

tyja,
for a newbie try glosso or hair grass 1st... hc is kinda demanding... they need cold temp + high light + high co2 ( excel abit they will happy ) for fast growth |

QUOTE(tyja @ May 6 2011, 04:25 PM) can, but i afraid the result is horror. Echinodorus tenellus or Sagittaria subulata are good beginner carpet plants for those with medium lighting or less. S subulata needs at least 3ft tank, if you plan for it to be in the foreground.Added on May 6, 2011, 4:26 pm wah!!! then what plant good for carpet? Whenever you choose a tank, try to get those with thicker glasses. I prefer my plants to be in the tank than on the living room floor Added on May 7, 2011, 12:14 am QUOTE(zipa @ May 7 2011, 12:07 AM) Can, but not optimal. Neon tetras do better in more acidic water. If aquarium is small, some fin nipping might occur. This post has been edited by SweetPuff: May 7 2011, 12:14 AM |

Zipa:
I used to keep guppy and tetras in same tank. They can live tgt. But if you plan to breed guppy, then can't put tetras They will eat baby guppy once they are born |
