just a 2 feet tank RM35 + a top filter RM 35...
done... with some money get some fish throw it in.. and wait for it cycle...
cheap and easy... no need light no need co2...

please prepare rm1000 MINIMUM for a BASIC planted tank...
beach sand and river sand is NOT recommended for a Beginner... except you know well about what you are doing... ( even myself also not dare to use those sand )

Ya it is important. But it is not essential
I keep Subwassertang , Xmas moss, some stem plant in my outdoor ceramic tank
They grow healthy and strong

BUT if you wish to keep planted tank in GLASS tank, a filter is must
Purpose of using glass tank is to let us view the fishes and plants.
Without filter , whole tank will be dirty, green water

Keeping a planted tank is somehow like keeping a "child" (~_~ I don't believe I'm saying this. Lol
Weekly water change, ferts, flora, fauna. You need to do enough research before start buying stuff. Don't buy them if you don't have the commitment to take care

hi guys...ive came across a LFS selling 2nd hand chiller HAILEA 150A. Its been used years for seawater tank...now letting go at RM400 and the LFS is giving warranty 1 month. I want to get it for my planted tank. Is it worth it? Need some advice.
