Yes...so if I want a planted tank need to get ADA soil is it?
How often do I have to give the fertiliser?
I have a rectangular fish filter,those normal one for the tank...is it needed or planted tank don't need filter?
At the moment I don't have co2 but after seeing your thread,the price being cheaper by RM100 and x2 of the weight compared to the price my LFS is selling at,I've decided to get 1 from you so you got PM The plant cannot thrive without co2 right?

fiona i would recommended you cycle your tank 1st before put in fish to stress them... and if you want to start a planted tank ,
for 2 feet aquarium i would recommended canister filter.. over filter is provide the good deliverance of fert for more information

about the all in one fert, yes it is cheap but one thing is uncontrollable, if you over dose algae will come easily or you less dosage, the plant wont have enough fert...
and about the substrate, just amazonia regular will do, dont need those power sand... this is cost budget suggestion =)
lastly please take note.... Filter is Heart of Aquarium... so invest in a canister if you wanna go for planted tank...

IMO,
these is the minimum requirement for starting planted tank to invest in

1. Canister Filter RM200 can get a good one already MIC brand =)
2.Substrate ADA 9liter RM88 regular type enough for 2 feet starter tank ( dont need slope yet =) maybe can do abit slope hehe )
3. Co2 ( RM 200  already can get 3kg + Manual Regulator )
4. Light ( RM 35 for a 2 feet PLL 55Watt MIC brand , buy at Electrical shop... DO NOT GO FISH SHOP BUY... they WILL POTONG U !! )

i believe not all of us know how to count how long will 200psi last...
for me i'll refill it only if the bubble getting slow... and only rm 10 for 5kg haha... but ur 3kg its too fast finished im using 5kg can last 1year and 2 months

1 x 1 feet  ? get 2x1 x1 feet tank...
2 feeter is a good start..

as 2 feet you need

1) MIC brand Filter RM150 (canister)
2) Soil RM88 for 9Liter ADA Amazonia Regular
3) RM35 for PLL55WATT with casing but not stand... MIC brand
4) RM200 for 3kg Co2 Tank + RM50++ Manual Regulator( NOT ALUMINIUM TYPE ) ( This is My Negotiate skill Price =P )
5) JBL all in 1 Fert Rm 35 ( if im not mistaken )

Yes Vendetta87, im not trying to make u unmotivated... this hobby is expensive and need alot of patient =)

its at kajang... please take note the casing is not coming with stand... is just a normal casing, you need DIY the stand urself... its at Kajang Electrical Shop =)

also depends on how many bubble per second and are you 24/7 inject in tank and etc? for me im using 4kg co2 with 1bps for 24/7 roughly can use for 1.3 years =) refill only RM10 haha

Not really if your tank Moss is the only plant...
