Yes...so if I want a planted tank need to get ADA soil is it?
How often do I have to give the fertiliser?
I have a rectangular fish filter,those normal one for the tank...is it needed or planted tank don't need filter?
At the moment I don't have co2 but after seeing your thread,the price being cheaper by RM100 and x2 of the weight compared to the price my LFS is selling at,I've decided to get 1 from you so you got PM

The plant cannot thrive without co2 right?
LOL,sorry for all the questions.
Adding soil is because it provides nutrien to your carpet plant. It depends on which type of plant you want to put in. If root type sure need soil. In my opinion, to save cost, I put crushed lava rock as base substrates and top up with amazonia. Most of us making a mountain landscape so it would cost you around rm300 just buying the soil
Eg: plants like moss does not need soil to grow. They take nutrient from water
In planted tank, bacteria is very important. Normal type filter u mentioned does not provide good enviroment for bacteria growth. Canister filter is highly recommended
I m dosing 5 drops fert weekly + 1 cap algea remover + 1cap normal liquid fert

It's brown! I made sure of it.

So my guppies won't eat it uh? The website you provided says that I should increase intensity of light and change water... Will it really go away like that? I don't have to scrape it off uhh?

Brown = dead
Guppy won't eat them. If they are floating then remove them
Mostly is caused by your light. I can grow moss with my outdoor tank with no water flow or co2 or addition ferts
Make sure your light is ok then only buy another batch of plants.
