fansoption: I didn't know Times Square has a Futuromic but you can try. smile.gif

I like #1 but less crop.

amadeo is in charge of the user lists.

8tvt: I like the wife's shot, but it looks kinda miniature for some reason. I like the greenness. To avoid the distortion, stand further away and zoom slightly.

e-jump: Nicely planned! Though you should learn the clone stamp tool.

noprob: Hmmm it doesn't seem too hazy to me as the towers have a bit too much contrast.

Newbieeeeee: Unfortunately, the A230/A290/A330/A380/A390 cannot change the local AF point by looking in the viewfinder.

freddy manson: Errr what talking you what is the dial button and right dial arrow?

johnmeng: A bit too slow shutter - that's why the moving people have disappeared. Unless of course that was your intended effect.

ahpingko: Hmmm could crop the nose for an even more interesting self-portrait!

eddybeh: WHOA the horror! It worked, though especially with the noise.

Codyx: Eh if you work in Sony you should not worry about the prices. wink.gif

d4rkholeang3l: Man, you so should've gone on F1.4 with this.

linkinstreet: Laser mana? LOL! Looks like the first few shots were walk-and-grabs hence the shake. Also is that the contrast from the Sigma 28-80mm?

cjlai: Whoa that is cool! I feel like I am right there.

T.T. No. 5 by cjlai76, on Flickr

T.T. No 5, one of the last great reminders of the time when the Kinta Valley was the world’s richest tin producing area, was built in 1938 by W.F. Payne & Sons for Pernas Chartered Management Sdn Bhd.

Once belonging to Southern Malayan Tin Dredging (M) Sdn Bhd, the dredge had scoured for tin ore in the Kinta Valley for 44 years.

Operations stopped in 1983 due to the collapse of the tin mining industry. Since then, it has lain in a man-made pond at Desa Perlombongan, about 10km from Batu Gajah, Perak.

In 1997, Pernas Chartered Management Sdn Bhd donated the three-storey high dredge to the state, which had spent over half a million ringgit to develop it into an attraction.

The thing about the tamron 17-50 is that Sony users are using the older version of the lens whereas canon n nikon users are using a newer version one. ......

codyx: when u read review on the tamron1750, most website is using nikon or the canon version which their camera required motorized lens. hence the Conventional motor is noisy.
on sony, we have body motor driven, so the sound is SAME across all any A mount lenses.

becareful when u read review, most review are not base on lenses for A mount which alpha has slightly diff approach. non VC 1750 on canon and nikon faces a lot handshake issue even with high iso on lowlight compare to sony with SSS.

You mean the twin kit with 55-200 and 18-55? A33 is something that might help you get more serious with dslr/dslt. Nex5 is not too shabby too. Depends on your taste biggrin.gif
