since you've used d90, i'd say skip the alpha 2/3xx series or you'd be dissapointed.
Save more and go with a5xx series. This will match/a step up the performance of 450d/d90

thats what i thought too

im looking for a5xx series too. which a5xx series is better? a550 not so many people selling T_T

good stuff no one wan to sell

hmm...i think a550 can't be said as the "match/step up" compared to d90,ergonomic/picture quality/features of d90 is ahead of a550,different class

If you can really save up 1 more month, you can get a A33 with kit. If not, A550 is not bad too.

P.S - I thought wingster is selling his A550? You can try 2 ask him lol.

What's the dilemma you facing? If you are looking for a dslr for beginner usage,A550 is more than enough,provided you do not need the video recording function that getting popular in latest dslr now

if you are dilemma to choose between d90/a550,I would suggest you to go for d90,however by considering your budget,I think a550 is best suit you I am a550 user too and I am not gonna sell it,even if I were to upgrade to a7XX/a77 in the future,I will keep a550 as my 2nd body So far a550 still satisfy me,because I take photography as my hobby and I am not professional photographer

cheapest with kit, around 2380 from Creative Damansara.

budget, or else kit lens suit your use.. (unless you know which focal length you prefer)
