btw, i heard sigma lens are nice too.....any lens that have f2.8 + zoom?...(should be expensive hmm.gif )

if you're getting sigma lens together with the dslt (a33/55), do check if it's chipped/reprogrammed to function properly on the dslt

tamron 17-50 f2.8 is the most common f2.8+zoom lens you can find,2nd hand should be around RM1~1.1k

DSLT-compatible to be exact
some older sigma lens has be to reprogrammed to fix focusing issue on a DSLT
DSLR is not affected before or after the reprogrammming

AFAIK, only sigma's lens are affected since their lens designed using reversed engineering

Go nego lo. but since DSLT now suffering from shortages of stock, when feb comes, price might increase.

Afraid that sony do not have constant f2.8 lens.
Tammy 17-50 - 1.4k

Alternatives are CZ16-80 or 16-105.

Both are quite ok.

There is a minolta one also f2.8 if i recalled correctly.

CZ and normal sony lens differ by price ma, therefore, I put them at diff category lol
