err tamron 10-24mm not good? i notice it has f/3.5-4.5..

atleast can stop down to evade the softness?

cjlai, nice catch

I am having the tamron 10-24, its my casual lens jsut for random frens group shots..not meant for any work or profesional output

anyway I stop down for sharpness but the distortion really a killer, i tend to be using at 11-12mm instead....

8tvt, well CA acceptable for me, as hardly do under harsh lighting, but if by normal standards, yes its quite heavy CA

the lens construction is the same.... just diff on hsm
