i thought TTL will count in the use of diffuser during the invisible preflash ?
You will be surprised how different things turned out if you add +0.3 to +0.7ev when using diffusers on your flash. Photography The Sony Alpha Thread V49!, The Orange Legion

Wahlau.... today is FE poison day kah?
Anyway, yesterday a few of us KK Alpha members planned a simple portraiture shoot at the beach. Here is one of my photo from that photoshoot: Presenting: Epong. ![]() www.ZeissImages.com A850 & SAL2470Z. 1/80s, F11.0, ISO200, 24mm. One outdoor strobe fired from the right hand side. Photo shot in cRAW and processed in Capture1 & CS4. Partners in crime: ![]() Had a blast. My A850 was splashed with salt water (accidentally, of course) |

QUOTE(cassplayer @ Jan 20 2011, 03:07 PM) Yes, the adaptor for Alpa lens. i think the culprit is his adapter..... check the lens on your camera. if everything works fine, then definitely his adapter's issue. not your problem. The buyer wasnt using an original Sony adaptor on his NEX, it was 3rd party adaptor which has a aperture ring to change the lens aperture, not controlled by the camera. |

30mm & 50mm range macros are more suitable for non-moving macro subjects like food, plants or dead animals.
anyway, i am no macro expert.... never quite liked the idea of squatting down in the middle of the forest to shoot ONE bug, when there could be a million other BUGS crawling up your pants! Model: Epong. ![]() |

QUOTE(kopitiam @ Jan 25 2011, 09:05 AM) Close to RM5k, including the Zeiss filter. Cheaper option will be the Minolta 84mm G. Boon3 is offering his for sale at a very reasonable price. Cheaper still will be the new Sony 85mm f2.8, but you will not be able to shoot at F1.4 or the thereabouts lah.... |
