Zstan: Try not to miss it la. Judging from the things plan, this year's convention 'should be' much better than the previous one. wink.gif

ahpingko: If you're gonna do the cold WB effect you might as well go all the way. I like #3, #4 and the eye closeup though.

67zai: For #1 I really like the color but the tree on the right is disturbing - try moving to a different angle.

ieR: Darn stairway! Darn blue background! Darn ambient light (in shot with drink.)

A lot of us here have Androids BTW. biggrin.gif Must be a not-afraid-of-not-following-others trait.

kopitiam: You forgot the A560. tongue.gif The A100 also can use the NP-FM500H. And there is F1.6 because F1.4 and F2.0 are 1 stop apart.

cassplayer: Congratulations!

zstan: Eh not 1 meter lah.

Sony 30mm F2.8 DT SAM Macro = 13cm MFD
Minolta/Sony 50mm F2.8 Macro = 20cm MFD
Tamron 90mm F2.8 Macro = 29cm MFD
Sigma 105mm F2.8 Macro = 31cm MFD
Minolta/Sony 50mm F2.8 Macro = 35cm MFD
Sigma 180mm F2.8 Macro = 38cm MFD

kysham: Nice #2!

gjtan: Use a higher ISO/slower shutter speed/brighter aperture to increase ambient light thus reducing the shadow effect.

Codyx: Yes - the Sony 28-75mm F2.8 SAM uses a 67mm lens cap.

e-jump: Nice, well spotted though I'd also take another shot without the construction just to make it look purely hi-tech.

Boon3: Hahaha the cat's out of the bag with Gary Friedman's newsletter!

not really the cost of the lens... is bcoz the HSM version is 82mm filter size while all my filters are 77mm....

consider HSM doesn't help much in UWA.... tat's y i decided on the cheaper non HSM version biggrin.gif
