Wanna ask how many of u all own a softbox? Izzit feasible to buy 1 softbox because i think u need to have a empty space to do shooting and also need multiple flash. Why i ask so is because being poison by yesterday lighting workshop organize by Sony. I google around and can hv a full kit set arounf RM500-RM600 so not sure wanna buy it or not, pls advise.

ohmy... have to use external flash loh.. how to do Wireless Flash somemore?

i got my softbox for RM200, the lightstand+mount for RM150.. that's all.. all sony flash support Wireless Flash..

that's why i emo only when i see sony doing wireless flash workshop.

anyone know where i can get the ALC-SH108 lens hood for the SAL1855 lens? none of the sony style and sony centres in KL have them.

Wah! Give me so big hat to wear ar? But if you want my advise this is what I will do if I am there:

I will shoot the skyline only and leave the fountain for another shot. Sometimes we feel like want to take in everything our eyes can see but we forget that our brain can filter but when it comes out in a pic, all the things come out and nothing gets filtered resulting in a very busy picture with no clear subject. Learnt that the hard way and then I learnt to slow down. Take a good look around. Think about what you want to show in terms of a pic. If you want to take in everything, take a test shot first and review it. Did the shot convey your message? If it did not, then obviously it did not work. So find something else.

You first have to have at least a rough idea on what your end result will be in your head and then try to match your actual pic to the one in your head. If you have no idea, the result will show as it too will not have a clear subject.

Buy an umbrella lor... cheaper and can give results like that in your pic most of the time. RM 200 will be more than enough to cover an umbrella plus light stand.

May i know where u got urs? n how big is ur softbox 60x60?

should i get 85mm F2.8?

but f20 kenot use as commander except in a850/a700 if im not mistaken lah..

yup its 60x60.. the usual softbox only mah..
one example is from GStrapInUse 60x60 foldable softbox

i thought the same.. i feel abit awkward..

ya, the pics are using umbrella, so now juz wanna survey the price n the difference between umbrella n sofbox.

fansoption: to me, oso own a sp90 i wont get the 85 f2.8 although review nice lo.... after all.. sp90 oso can get nice portraits. can get nice macros too...
