I think what he mean is that the volume cannot be adjusted if you're using this sound card from the volume properties. You can only adjust the volume either from the Music Player or from the speaker physical volume knob itself
I read about the windows volume control not working from the previous post by someone before. I guess it is intended to be this way smile.gif

Do you mean the volume control on windows that can be adjusted at the bottom right does not affect the sound quality?

A question here.
If i don't want to use the volume control on media player/game and i can't control the master volume on windows, and i don't plan to buy an amp for my headphone, what can i buy to just control the volume? hmm.gif

or how do i mod the usb dac to include a "switch which i can pusing-pusing" to control the volume? tongue.gif

you can control it over foobar. smile.gif
A simple buffer or simple preamp will do for controlling volume.
In the worst case if you don't intend to buy an amplifier, you can make
an in line potentiometer over flex.gif

there is a slight delay when u use foobar with wisapi(usb audio dac) when playing/pause/next/previous audio song.

potplayer + reclock with wisapi exclusive(usb audio dac) works perfectly.

i haven't listen the sound quality yet.just try to see whether it works or not biggrin.gif

for my configuration,i still need wasapi or else i will freak out when windows made a sound or someone is buzzing my facebook/messenger laugh.gif

Haha yeah, too used with WASAPI settings. WASAPI works fine with my foobar2k, except it's there's slight delay with the volume bar but it's the WASAPI limits. Now trying default output as bro chchyong said. biggrin.gif
