The board has so many empty pads without components. Is this unfinished? Or user-upgradable? tongue.gif

According to your question, it can be used.

I've 2 questions :

I'm getting a Harman Kardon SoundSticks III, using it on a Macbook Pro 2010.

1) Would this DAC improve the sound quality of the Harman Kardon. I'm more into music listening and movie. Less on Gaming.
2) Can I still control the volume through my Mac OSX? Or only though speaker?

Regards

1. Give it a try biggrin.gif
2. You can control volume on the media player itself and the speaker. On Windows, main volume controller has no effect, not even mute. I believe it's intended to preserve line-level output with no resolution loss from software volume control.

Just do some main power tweak test....amazingly this DAC starts to perform nicely without much bad roll off now.  thumbup.gif

Lol. Nvm. Presumably no one would even do such things. Moreover, tables and floor tiles are not conducive, usually. laugh.gif
