YES, all Apple designed Covers are very well designed, like the Ipad1 ori cover, my bro's Ipad dropped from a height of 3ft wif the ori cover, the Ipad screen and side was not damaged, whereas some Ipads tat dropped without the thermoplastic polyurethane/ folder type case, the side got dented. btw, i am using Belkin's Grip Vue thermoplastic polyurethane case not slippery (highly recommended)

like i said...there is no way to put retina display in ipad2 due to all apps developer had to double up the work just for the graphic display and yeah... it will be largest resolution compare to current desktop resolution (majority)...

lucky it is not design with the chrome back if not i sure can see some scream from ipad2 user later hahahahah about the scratchs in ipod touch thread

If I were to purchase the 3G + Wifi model from US, which carrier should I choose so that it will work with our local telcos here?

AT&T or Verizon?

My guess is to go for AT&T as they should be on the GSM network, but would like to get double confirmation before I take the plunge

Work stuffs? Although I hate putting work-related stuffs onto my iPad, I only installed Junos VPN and a remote desktop app for emergency customer support only.

Anyways, when traveling on a plane for long hours, it's one freaking awesome personal in-flight entertainment system.

For those who had just got IPad recently, you can request for partial refund of the price drop. Call 1800-806-419 to do so.

According to the Terms and Conditions (http://store.apple.com/Catalog/Singapore/I...espolicies.html):

9.2 Should Apple reduce its price on any product you have purchased (except promotional / special / discount / refurbished products) within 14 calendar days of receiving your goods, you may contact the Apple Store Order Management team on 1800-806-419 to request a refund or credit of the difference between the price you were charged and the current selling price. To receive the refund or credit you must contact Apple within 14 calendar days of receiving your goods.
