I found via photos that the latest XPS 15 looks more plastic and round than before. Is it true? I do not have any chance to hold XPS 15 yet.

The latest Vostro look more stunning, though less capabilities when compare to XPS 15.

Hi guys . I'm new here . Do you have any idea of getting Dell XPS 14 or 15 without ordering through the website ? My mom is getting me one and she doesn't like hassle stuffs and she doesnt believe in postage stuff .

I just got mine for 2 days. Not really satisfied with the performance. So I sell u, wan?

Gaming....blah.. I tested passmark and the score is 1100.

Guys.. the McAfee scan in my xps 15 run extremely SLOW! .. do u guys have same problem? and any solutions for it?

hah.. i thot this XPS 14 spec already quite good for gaming..

I cant play starcraft2 at all..the fps is so unstable even at lowest setting. Then I tried 2008 year game Tomb Rider underworld, everything is fine at start but also become unstable after around 40mins. GPU temp was around 65-79.

And sometime programs crashed for no reason, this I have never experience in my 3 years old laptop with winXP.. Now I don't know what is wrong with this laptop anymore.

I think ur spec really good enough for playing game.

for me I remove it and using another AV like NOD32, coz McAfee also always scan my *cough* k*ygen and *cough* cr*ck collection *cough*

and just now i install a gadget for show the processor core performance.. and it show 8cores!!! my unit is xps 15 i7 Q740.. any ideas how it happening?

if you wan to buy let me know..I sell you a little cheaper. After that u deal with their technical service yourself

that shows the number of CPU Threads. i7 have 2 threads per core, thus 4 x 2 = 8 cores dont worry its normal :-D

Ya I saw that youtube, thats why I got XPS14 now. I'm doing system diagnose now..so far no error. So I suspect is software issue.

XPS 15 and XPS 17 have been refreshed in the U.S. Dell website with Sandy Bridge processors and Nvidia GeForce 500M series GPU's. They also feature chiclet styled keyboards.

L502X and L702X.

I don't think we will have the 17 inch version here in Malaysia, but fingers crossed that the new XPS 15 will, and fast.
