Help!! Dell Webcam Central is causing a lot of problem to the web cam..why on earth did it turned on every time i tried to video call? Then fast access will be unable to use it after webcam central started and closed. Is it necessary to use DWC in order to use the webcam?

hey guys, finally got my XPS 15 on mon!

on the JBL speakers, it's seriously awesome!

anyway, on some songs, i noticed some noise distortions/crackling/rattling from the JBL speakers when playing some songs even at volume below 50%, and those songs aren't those bass songs either (mostly piano soundtracks). i have never put the volume level above 50% (after reading this threat that too high volume will spoil the speakers and subwoofer).

for example, this music, several of the Hachiko (the dog movie) piano soundtracks produce some rather noticeable crackling at some parts of the songs. try playing the music from this this youtube link. try listening to the first track, and listen very carefully at the speakers.

do you have the same problem???

dell has updated their website with new specs wooohoooo!!!
only for 15" though. 17" not available yet...

compared to other dell laptop..yes

i'm having troubles booting up my xps15. anyone know whats the cause? happens once in a while.
after press power button all light up but dies down in awhile, sometimes when computer sleeping also cannot wake up same thing happen.

what on earth MLK stands for

just talked to a sales agent from dell. he says if i order xps 15 now, the assembly for my order won't be until march 15.

i just got my xps 14 a few days ago, going to return it as i don't find the purchase a sound investment at the moment (specially with the news that xps 14 is discontinued, and now the release of sandy b xps 15 with almost the same price as my xps 14)

it seems sandy bridge for xps 15 is up on dell website....

i have a xps 15, but then my nvidia card doesnt work ?... how to switch it on when i need it to switch on??

can u actually do that with that kind of excuses? just curious...
otherwise dell would have alot of returned laptops everytime they update their specs...

I also returning my XPS14. Talked with agent, they said will send DHL to collect my XPS14 in few days, then proceed to refund. But said will charged for RM80 penalty.

It told them I already opened OS/drivers cd cover, and they said nvm.

Go to the nvidia Control Panel, under 3D settings, there you can whitelist the apps to use nVidia...

yep, you can. the only thing is you have to pay for the delivery charges (80RM) and you have to return it within 14 days of invoice date. in my case the invoice date is feb. 24.

oh. forgot to add. if you are going to cancel because you want to buy another different laptop, the agent said he can waive the 80RM fee.

Thank you fore replying.... But i oredi set what application to use high performance graphic( nvidia?) but then when i on the game, under the task bar, nvidia card setting still showing it is not running

Just checked into Dell just now but seems like they are only selling the normal XPS now? Where are the XPS MLK?

yeah, and they updated the website it looks a lot like the US site now. maybe someone just forgot to add the new MLK when they upgraded.
