You need to tick media disc when customizing the notebook if you want the disc..

I have it. The top part barely fits, but I find it still acceptable as the cushioning on the bottom/side/front is really nice. It can also fit the laptop with the 9-cell battery, no problems.

Just got to squeeze the top part of the laptop in at times.

Nope, it fits super perfectly if you know how to put it in. Just put the laptop in, pull the zip a little higher, and fit it in.

Dell told me that my new XPS 15 will arrive in 2 - 3 weeks time, but it came in 1 week!

My L502X came with i7-2630, 8GB RAM, 500GB HDD, 2GB NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 540M graphics with Optimus and 15.6" (39.6cm) FHD (1920x1080) B+RGLED display with TrueLife.

So excited when it came much earlier than expected!

When I turned on the notebook, I thought something was totally wrong, the screen was yellowish when I turned on MS Words. Shouldn't the background be white? The yellowish was an eyesore. I couldn't bare to look at the screen for more than 10 minutes. Anyone with this full HD screen have the same problem? I called Dell TS and relate my disappointment, but they told me that this is the latest RGB+ LED design that the screen looks yellowish. What's more amazing is that the Dell TS solution was for me to downgrade the screen to 15.6" (39.6cm) HD (1366x768) WLED display with TrueLife or replace the system with an Inspiron 15R.

Planning to get the xps 15 L502X ... However if i were to get it from the shop, they dont offer customizing options like upgrading for the 1080p screen. I want to upgrade the screen, wireless and etc. Is it possible to call Dell and ask them to send it instead of ordering online ? I live in Kuching and there`s a Dell service centre nearby ... Can i visit them and order there ?
