Hi, I'm survey on a mobile workstation laptop for office, which model /series I should go?

Requirement:
1) Enable display 3 displays individual at the same time with/without docking station.
(Monitor display itself + 2 external monitors)
2) mid-end GPU or high-end GPU with HDMI/DisplayPort out on laptop.
3) 15" monitor

Website link please if any.

a) XPS
b) Precision
c) Inspiron

How about Alienware series, which come with GTX GPU, can support 3 monitors?
If can, must with docking? (If Alienware available for docking?)

Well got myself a brand new Dell XPS 15 (L521X), wanted to wait for a haswell refresh, but end of financial year sales where I am was too good haha. Pulled out the original 5400RPM 1tb hdd and replaced it with a Samsung 512gb 830 SSD and the thing flies.
Now on to what to do with my old L501X.

Probably won't be doing that in the near future. My SSD and mSATA SSD gives me enough storage for now when coupled with some external hard drives haha.
I don't use the bluray drive much but it's helpful to have it there during the occasional times that I have had to use it XD

Hi All,

I'm currently researching on XPS 13 vs XPS 14. Can anyone of you share some of your knowledge and experience related to both?

1. Gaming capability?
2. Battery life?
3. Resolution? (I have a Dell 24" Ultrasharp LCD, and I'd like to make full use of its function with the secondary output of XPS 13 or XPS 14). Can either 13 or 14 generates the 1920 x 1080 FullHD output from its XPS 13 Displayport or HDMI from XPS 14?
4. Any pros and cons between the two that you can share?

I'd mainly use the laptop for work purpose, but of course I'd also like the laptop to have decent gaming capability where I can play some decent/latest games with medium settings perhaps.

Looking forward to your advice notworthy.gif

For gaming i will recommend Alienware.

But comparing XPS 14 or 13, my vote will go to 14 ^^
