Anybody here have any experience with the Dell XPS 15 L521X?
Was wondering about everyday battery life among other things.

Well got myself a brand new Dell XPS 15 (L521X), wanted to wait for a haswell refresh, but end of financial year sales where I am was too good haha. Pulled out the original 5400RPM 1tb hdd and replaced it with a Samsung 512gb 830 SSD and the thing flies.
Now on to what to do with my old L501X.

Probably won't be doing that in the near future. My SSD and mSATA SSD gives me enough storage for now when coupled with some external hard drives haha.
I don't use the bluray drive much but it's helpful to have it there during the occasional times that I have had to use it XD

I've played around with one and it looks and feels exactly like the old XPS 12 cosmetically. A lot of stores would have the old ivy bridge xps 12, just go test out those. I'd go for the XPS 12 rather than something with a flat keyboard like the XPS11. I'd imagine it'll feel like those flat microsoft surface keyboard.
