More chew blocks and different types of grass hay may help. But you may still need monthly vet visit to file down the teeth. Sounds like possible malocclusion aka misaligned teeth which is genetic problem.

Don't limit food. Young rabbits must have food available 24/7. Give more hay.
QUOTE(pchan @ Mar 18 2011, 10:48 AM) guys, Not sure if i'm being paranoid but my young lionhead baby is eating non-stop.Ponyo came to my home 2 weeks ago, from a skinny skeleton to a bunny with huge belly.She/he seems to be producing waste well, but the poops are bit watery.Ponyo's diet contains Timonthy hay + pellets. Yes, Dutch marked rabbits. They need to be separated to avoid unwanted pregnancy.

Hi woodykids,
I applaud your sincerity putting this rabbit up for adoption and free for a good rabbit owner. Unfortunately, you need to put up the notice in the adoption thread. I advice you to copy the content before the admin remove your post. Neutered buck and intact doe is best combination.
Just send the buck for castration. That will be good enough. QUOTE(GravityFi3ld @ Apr 12 2011, 07:18 PM) I enquired about spaying and found out the following charges offered by Dr. Wong Shaw Feei USJ ANIMAL CLINIC 51 Jalan USJ 8/2B 47610 UEP Subang Jaya Tel : 03-5621 1809 For Male - RM150 | Female RM200 I have 2 bunnies(1male & 1 female) and would seriously like to ask, is it better to NOT spay either of them and have them kept in separate cages OR spay one of them and still keep them in the same cage? Any advice would sure be wonderful =) Their currently 4 months old and are sharing a cage(L19" W13" H16") - simple cage bought at RM30 from pet store. Anyone can suggest a better cage? Sorry to hear.
QUOTE(dobreva90 @ Apr 19 2011, 08:49 AM) Dear All,Please come for the event this Saturday, I would like to share with all of you how to ensure your pet rabbits do not die so easily. Let's come and exchange views and information face to face. You can ask any question about rabbits and I will be glad to answer all of them to the best of my ability. It breaks my heart to hear that more people are losing their pet rabbits because of various reasons. Let me give you all the explanation as to why they keep on dying and how you can avoid it. Those without rabbits are also welcome. Please avoid bringing sick rabbits, bring your sick rabbits to the vets because I do not want other rabbits getting infected at the gathering. Thank you. ![]() |

Blue is dilute color of black. We don't normally call it grey but BLUE.
