Attended PwC, KPMG and Deloitte assessments, and got offers from 3 of them, i think Deloitte's assessment is most difficult among these 3...  sweat.gif

Is EY's interview really the easiest? i was called for EY interview b4 and there would be 3 interviewers to interview me, but i rejected the interview invitation coz i accepted offer from Deloitte....b  tongue.gif

I think Deloitte has the easiest assessment. I didn't managed to have a personal interview with manager. It's only Written test, IQ and English Test. Then Group Assessment comes into play the next day.
KPMG values their people more than Deloitte. They respect each portfolio and interview each of them in person. I think this is good because they will know you better.
For Deloitte, the HOA, AP, HR basically just observing your group assessment performance without actually talk to you.

Does Deloitte really have group assessment? i heard many ppl say so.....but weird, during my assessment and interview session with Deloitte, the process is just Written test, IQ and English Test, then personal interview with the manager on the same day, then next day i was offered the job......

I think each big 4 has their own good and bad....juz depend on how u mix and grow with the environment..... smile.gif

but i would like to know more bout the Deloitte's client portfolio... tongue.gif

Hello people, although Big4 is dealing more of the accounts but I'm wondering is there any good prospect for graduates (not from accounting background) to work in?

Feel free to share your opinion smile.gif

WTA, what are the possible ways to submit CVs for employment?

I mean is it necessary to be in hard copy or is it possible to send my soft copy to them instead?
I know that PWC is accepting soft copy via their webpage, how about others?

Hi there, I recently got an offer from Khazanah for its Graduate Trainee Certified Accountant Programme. Basically for the first 3 years they will be sending me to one of the big 4 for training and at the same time they will fund me for ACCA/ICAEW. The big 4 will be paying my salary and Khazanah will provide me allowance. May i know roughly how much is the salary that will be provided by big 4? I have a degree in law and will be finishing my MSc. in Intl' Business Economics this year.

Thanks for the info and help smile.gif

Dear all future Big 4 applicants.

I have a simple request of all of you.
Do learn how to use Ms Excel (at least know basic formulas etc) and Ms Word before you start work. Please.
Don't drive your future seniors up the wall and make us don't want to confirm you.

I don't think I'm asking too much here.

Know how to link cells, know how to add rows, add columns, know how to use =SUM() and know how to create percentages.
Basic enough?

Must know how to copy paste also. Don't blindly waste time type in when u can copy paste. Learn how to adjust excel rows (avoid having ##### apearing in the cells) and how to adjust page break so that the printings are readable+presentable for review. Print preview is a very important step. Don't auto sum wrongly as well. Don't double 'sum' if u have subtotal in the excel sheet.

I used to send juniors like that to do 100% vouching and casting. After I find out during their first assignment with me, I make sure they never get into my team again. Appraisal and confirmation, needless to say, I'll tell it exactly like it is.
