Man this is cheap!
Ouch, drop from table inside a bag? But this lens is supposed to be robust! >_<

Added on December 10, 2010, 7:55 amGoing to KLIMS xD. See you guys!
*
Yeah, Dropped inside the bag.. Well, it is suppose to be robbust.. So much for the FX Dream Lens

QUOTE(chobo @ Dec 10 2010, 08:00 AM)
yeap... they'll ask you to fill up on the spot if your warranty card is unfill...
*
How I wish I could fill mine and sent to KL right at this moment.

QUOTE(chobo @ Dec 10 2010, 08:03 AM)
is it mounted on the cam when it drop...?
*
Well yes. It was mounted with my D300s.
That was I can quick release the camera from the bag to capture a shot instead of opening two caps and mounting both of it.
From Quick release to Quick destroyed

QUOTE(KTCY @ Dec 10 2010, 08:21 AM)
The cost I think will be almost brand new price.
Even it's repaired, I will not keep it anymore.
What's the serial number btw ? Just in case. You know tongue.gif
It gonna be something like that. Replace the whole thing man.
*
Why not keep anymore? sad.gif
Serial Number? Why? Wanna take a visit at the patient room izit? tongue.gif

JAHAT you! hahaha..

If that's the case, then I might get a cheap Wide-angle zoom lens.
Then invest more for a 70-200 VRII

got a question here

d7000 usually comes with a Nikon brand 8gb card n a bag right?

what class will the card be?
*
Not sure got Nikon brand sd card. The bag is standard from Nikon not sure about the sd card.
The shop either give you 4gb or 8gb, either way, it's very cheap and not much difference. They give class4 only as I know.

My advice is to survey as many shop as possible becuase they give different price and even same shop, the price is different the second time you ask. Some shop very steady, straight give you best offer, 3800 for body only. Some will try to charge you extra 3-5 percent for cc, while some no extra charge at all, all gimmick. Some shop even go to the extend of telling you the price you stated is their cost price which is ridiculous, moreover, another branch of theirs can offer it. Be wise when negotiating.

since this lens ques here, i tumpang ask aso...how do u all take out the camera from the bag? i am having the normal back. and normally the body sit under and lens facing top. is it the right way to take the camera out by taking its lens (that connected with body) or need to take the body 1st?

feel sked after seeing this pic as normally i will take it with the lens, den oni take the body..somehow bag too deep, my hand hardly reach (i got big hand >.<)
*
My camera and attached lens goes straight into the bag, lens down. When I want to take it out, just put my hand in, hold the handgrip just like shooting time, and pull the whole thing out. I put some velcro pads so that the camera+lens will stand up straight in the bag. And no, no straps on the camera. A handstrap sometimes, but usually nothing.

The 2nd and 3rd pic taken with my friend D3000. Not a bad camera if the ISO is below 800 and when there's enough light tongue.gif
