I am asking this because my DSLR comes with a free SD card, but they only give me the Lexar brand 8GB card which I found abit slow when I take pictures at very low ISO of 100 to 200 (and sometimes when at very high aperture like f29).. I need to wait at least 10 to 20 secs before I can take another picture.

Dunno whether is my camera faulty or slow memory card problem.

Or maybe 135/2 DC hehe. I was thinking of picking up thr 200/2 VR2 too.. Hehe

I had the opportunity to use a friend's 55-200 today. I must say that I'm impressed with the VR! =)

No more energy to carry my cam with flash attached, that's why all the pictures on the later round without flash 

Thanx for the compliment, I actually like the pics without flash, cos it's like what you see when u are at the hall, natural lighting from the spotlights, won't kill the background also

i usually spray and pray to check my exposure settings.

But sometimes i felt like the lcd screen really can't be trusted much. Any tips on how you tune the exposure more accurately apart of looking at the histogram?

That's what i've noticed. The actual photo when viewed on my computer is usually 1 or 2 stops lesser than the lcd on my camera.... Hmm...

guys, a shop sell the camera with class4 8gb card, then if i wanna upgrade to sandisk 8gb class 10 card need to topup rm140. is that topup price ok?
