QUOTE(Bugeca @ Dec 7 2010, 06:29 PM) "Firstly, the phone is fast. We mean blazingly fast. Not only that, but the animations, touch response and general framerate on everything seems to be cranked closer to the vicinity of the iPhone 4." That's because gingerbread support 32 bit colour and alpha blending channel. It futher enhance the UI and graphics on the phone. This helps in speed and smoothness, graphics becomes smoother as well. No more dithering that you can see when you set high res pics to the wallpaper. Source: http://www.engadget.com/2010/12/07/google-nexus-s-preview/ Damn it Samsung, Nexus S is really fast in stock OS. I am positive that SGS will be performing likewise on Gingerbread. |

QUOTE(Narako @ Dec 7 2010, 10:17 PM) Get SGS anyway. By the time Nexus S is available for sale in Malaysia, it would be early 2011 d. Look at Desire HD, still not available till gingerbread also here d. By next year more phones will pop up (motorola, LG) , bigger dilemma for u. |

*EDITS* NVm... i found another code after looking for half and hour... *#*#3214789650#*#* and i have a question... How come after using K10H.. MY phone is still moving as slow as ****? entering sms..always jerk, entering even a simple program like APNdroid setting takes like 5 seconds... What's going on ? Sure the RAM states that theres more free space up to 142 actually out of 342... really disappointed... i had a nice working GPS which locks on in lesss than 10 secs with good accuracy less than 20 feet when i was using Eclair... until my phone crash and had to do a factory reset...now everything isnt working right... can anyone help me please ? Would really be grateful if someone can fix the silly GPS problem and the lag. i dun have much applications also.. less than 90 actually which includes those that are in the phone already. QUOTE(hihihehe @ Dec 7 2010, 10:19 PM) Erm, you're owning a Samsung product. I can safely say not until 6 months later? =.=http://pocketnow.com/android/nexus-s-ditch...le-microsd-slot There's no sd card slot for Nexus S. I read that they did this to counter Apple's claim that, App2sd is troublesome when people wanna change SD card and the game is not in there. It looks to be partly because Google wanna be a gaming platform. Gingerbread devices is supposed to use less internal ram and hence more usable ram. |
