QUOTE(cloudstrife07 @ Dec 3 2010, 06:20 AM) since u guys chatting about the phone's battery life, wanna ask, is it that bad with normal usage i.e. surfing for a couple of minutes, calls around 30mins per day, sms-ing, taking less than 10 photos and using some apps? Battery life really good, you can survive for one day without worry it will switch off... |

QUOTE(qwen234 @ Dec 3 2010, 07:28 AM) no auto sync for me, i also not switch on the 3G so i'm not using the mobile data, only using edge for the line...Added on December 3, 2010, 7:40 am QUOTE(rhoyo @ Dec 3 2010, 07:31 AM) guys wanna ask if i follow this guide will it increase my battery life ? if you already turn off the 3G, so it is the same. If you want to use 3G without HSDPA, try the guide, HSDPA connect to more cell tower for the better speed and at the same time decreased battery life really fast...http://touristinparadise.blogspot.com/2010...-hsdpa-for.html This post has been edited by ijat91: Dec 3 2010, 07:40 AM |

Before this i got at 100% about 12 hours before it drop to 99%. I don't use my phone to test the battery life.
This show our SGS battery really super with the hardware that use less power. Bad codding of apps and widget cause the battery really worse... Hope my current setting can stand longer than my previous setting... |

QUOTE(freakfingers12 @ Dec 7 2010, 10:17 PM) That's because gingerbread support 32 bit colour and alpha blending channel. It futher enhance the UI and graphics on the phone. This helps in speed and smoothness, graphics becomes smoother as well. No more dithering that you can see when you set high res pics to the wallpaper. are you mean that is it work like gpu acceleration??I am positive that SGS will be performing likewise on Gingerbread.
