Hey guys, i was wondering... does anyone here got their GPS working?

At first when i updated the firmware.. i was quite satisfy that i could lock within less than 10sec... even @ indoors it also can lock quite fast..
But don't know why... after a few times using it... the whole GPS seems to falter again..
I cant even get any Lock even @ outdoor... sometimes it cant even detect any Satellite.....
Im seriously frustrated now.. anyone got any idea if theres any way to fix the problem??? I dont mind flashing illegal firmware or what not cause i already gave up on samsung in fixing the problem...

If anyone here got the perfect fix... please do a guide please...

when that happen i just restart my phone all better.

Any way can make google map or google navigation use in offline?

Any one try Brut Google Maps b4?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=630887
Cant it work?
*
yes it can work offline, you just need internet for the 1st time open, and if you have downloaded the map (the tutorial is in the topic)

BUT, you cant search offline, it just wont work, the map work, the navigation work, just the search dont work offline.

U can optimise by enabling all the tweaks under Advanced ULK feature in Clockworkmod. No need apply tweaks also smooth dy biggrin.gif
*
you guys also use the lagfix? i read in the faqs, no lagfix is recommended, but if want to use, use the ext4 no journal data.

sometimes the price of white is higher than black, and the only thing you get is the back cover is white, if the front is also white, then that be anotehr story

hey, just wondering, i installed k10e speedmod 500mhz on my galaxy s...but batt seems to drain fast as well...i applied lagfix (ext4) and running launcher pro with 4 home screens...

*beautiful widgets
*system info
*power control
*launcher pro calender
*launcher pro message
*launcher pro bookmark
*launcher pro people...

any idea on how to improve batt life? any major difference between 256mhz and 500mhz k10e?
*
check the beautiful widgets, if you use the weather widget, check the intervals of updating the weather, faster = more battery

i read the speemod faqs and stumble upon:

Q: How do I install a custom boot animation?

A: First, find a custom bootanimation.zip that you like. Then copy it to /data/local/bootanimation.zip (recommended) or /system/media/bootanimation.zip.
