May I know which version are you using now & what's your wireless setting?
And what do you mean by "N limit to 65Mbps" only?
Anywhere, I tested on the latest r15962 from BrainSlayer:
It show 260Mb/s rate, may be you are referring to the RX Rate which seem to stick at 65M.
However, I can still get actual transfer rate between 5~8MB/s on my laptop connected within same floor at living area:
with this N-only setting:
To me, it's consider not bad for a Atheros7241 below RM90!

Tried same version as you on TL-WR841ND v7.2. Set mine to N only 300Mbps. I believe from your screenshots that you are already familiar with this bug.

There are enough threads in the DD-WRT forums regarding the support status and this issue there

Hi, anyone got working DD-WRT settings for WR1043ND ver 1.6 from TP-Link?
Tried the whole day without any luck...still no internet from that gateway as I intended to replace DIR-615 with this Gigabit Router WR1043ND...sigh....
I tried vlan2 tagging of 500 with prio 0, assigned WAN port to vlan2.500, leaving vlan2 unbridged...but it didn't work...
Should I play around with the MTU? Besides that, I noticed my DIR-615 has a vlan priority of 1, not sure whether it affects the setup....
Anyone running DD-WRT with this machine? Any favor would be nice...thanks...
Here are the screenshots of my settings...please correct my mistakes...new to networking...

Your issue is simple, the WAN interface on the TP-Link is not VLAN2.

Reset DD-WRT to defaults and look at the current bridging table which should only have one entry. One of the interfaces (ath0 if I remember correctly) will the the WAN interface.

Hai guys.
Im still puzzle which package should I go for? Thinking to go for VIP20. But the question now is, I have a phone line + streamyx. I want to install unifi separately. Meaning my family remain using streamyx and I personally using unifi (Same house)
Is it going to be an issue?
Btw, can u disable the wifi function and use cable instead? Hate to go wifi cause people can use up my uniti. Even with password they eble to crack it and get the free wifi. If 30 people use up, there goes my unity speed

By house you mean landed properly? Then yes, you can keep your current Streamyx and have Unifi seperate from it. And yes, wifi is easily disabled on DIR615 router.
