I've ordered the Black rubberized hard case from PDair, but only to find out that the case is OOS.
They refunded my money.

So now, where can I get a decent case for N900?
I've been looking around Klang, macam takde? yawn.gif

I can't seem to get a decent pouch as well... gonna snoop around KL to try hunting for it...

@creative zn: what exactly is your problem? Cause I think if you use pidgin or just the conversations app it shouldn't be a problem cause it is directly programmed in the app

Hello,

im in the middle of upgrading firmware. Cant understand this:
Step 4 Extract and install the Maemo flasher tool
Step 5 Copy R.bin & RE.bin files to C:/Program Files/maemo/flasher-3.5 directory

step 4 Q: Where to get maemo flasher tool?
step 5 Q: Is it C:/ for windows? Copy those 2 files in windows partition C?

step 4 http://tablets-dev.nokia.com/maemo-dev-env-downloads.php

step 5 put the .bin in the same directory where you install the flasher tool

yes, it is for windows xp, vista and 7, of course you can download other OS such as Mac or Linux if you have that installed in your PC

p.s. google/yahoo is the best tool for searching info icon_rolleyes.gif

try using your ID instead of email to login

example: abc@yahoo.com key in ID as abc only

*
step 4 Q(Ans):You'll find Maemo Flasher 3.5 at the same firmware update site - http://tablets-dev.nokia.com/nokia_N900.php
step 5 Q(Ans):Yes.Download the "RX-51_2009SE_20.2010.36-2_PR_COMBINED_MR0_ARM.bin",rename it to R.bin ; download "RX-51_2009SE_10.2010.13-2.VANILLA_PR_EMMC_MR0_ARM.bin" & rename it to RE.bin
Copy both the files to Program Files/maemo/flasher-3.5

The reason why I suggest you to rename the two files is because it'll make your life much easier while typing
If you on Windows PC normally your windows partition will be C.Copy the 2 files into the directory which you install maemo flasher.
