Currently on 500hz all tweaks K10c, RFS.

My whatsapp loads in about 0.x-1sec, not the usual 2-5secs! Omg! Samsung should hire hardcore.

So what the benefit does 500Hz has compared to 256Hz?

With the latest speedmod, u dun really need the lagfix.

500HZ compile option gives smoother UI because of its rapid kernel refresh. However it uses more CPU% at idle by itself. Hence use more power. Under high processing load, there is slightly lesser CPU% left for other application, hence also lowers throughput.

256HZ is just the other way round. Higher latency but higher throughput.

Uhhh running speedmod 256+all tweaks on RFS has the same battery consumption as ext4nj. Will see for another couple of hours, if not good. I will revert back to ext2, at least it can give me 36 hours in a single charge so far.

ext4nj vs ext2: Under high IO load, ext4nj may have faster performance. Better filesystem scheduling in ext4.

Yup... but these features may also tax the CPU a bit. I did encounter some lags in ext2 but not at critical level. I'm trying to get the best battery. Seems most of fs performance are almost identical for everyday use / tasks. Only difference in Quadrant which is not a good benchmark anyway.
