Hi Guys,
Do anyone here with official Froyo have the new Samsung Froyo keyboard? You can recognise it by seeing numbers on the top row of keys. I know most of you are on swype but can someone check and confirm that it is not there?
I miss using that in Doc's ROM. I suspect it is only for EU region?

QUOTE(sengasdf @ Nov 24 2010, 02:14 PM) According to Speedmod creator Hardcore said: "I recommend NOT using any lagfix for best battery life and good performance. At this point, ext4 lagfixes seem to use more battery, and JFS lagfixes are a bit unstable." SOSI find that somewhat true. I am currently on DXJPA + speedmod K9, RFS, all tweaks enabled. Getting probably 20-50% more batt life from the usual things I have + do.

QUOTE(phyz @ Nov 25 2010, 05:11 PM) i think i just asking for the performance, why SGS slower than S-Tab and SG5 can run faster than SGS(even i do acknowledge,SG5 is one of low-end device). No idea bro, they both seem to come from the same setup, hardware wise and yet the Tab with a higher resolution performs better. Reports from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=796860Maybe some tweaks from the Samsung boys were in place? I am thinking of getting one too, but my love for my SGS is still strong..

QUOTE(kmrdeva @ Nov 25 2010, 05:25 PM) SGT and SGS hardware-wise are almost identical, other than form factor, display size and screen resolution. It's possible that the Samsung chaps made some much-needed optimizations when they modified the software (OS, Touchwiz framework etc) to support the higher resolution of the SGT. Anyway, I am seriously considering keeping my SGS as a phone and getting an SGT to use as an MID. A bit overkill SGS+SGT bro.. They are essentially the same. But if u consider SGT=upgrade, u have to worry about going to pasar malam with a bulge..

QUOTE(sengasdf @ Nov 26 2010, 11:36 AM) Download a Gallery 3D from XDA desire thread, same app but it does not load as fast as the original one in Doc ROM, but it does solve the sensor issue. Started it for 7 sec and then close it. Wait 20 seconds after and check the sensor usage again, still maintain 7 sec Hmm is this really a battery drain problem? Have you checked on CPU usage by the sensor service, mine is at 0.00% from Watchdog app although reported as still running in Battery History. It could just be there in RAM and consuming neglible amount of CPU. DXJPA ext2 342mb Kernel

QUOTE(kmrdeva @ Nov 30 2010, 10:27 AM) OCLF doesn't suck, I feel. Just that from my experience, the newer lagfix solutions are better overall.. Never tried OCLF before. I started with Voodoo, then all ext4, then JFS and now all ext2. Need to try them all out! What were the issues with OCLF? I read a summary that it lags after a few weeks.

Themes are the coolest thing. Every week change theme, like every week got new phone. Means no need buy new phone already.. till they implant phones in our head.
Current theme: R64 = cool!

Currently on 500hz all tweaks K10c, RFS.
My whatsapp loads in about 0.x-1sec, not the usual 2-5secs! Omg! Samsung should hire hardcore.
