straight forward way is flash back to eclair ROM and then install CWM.
*
Thanks, at least this is 1 way.

But if upgrade back to DXJPA, would recovery mode be replaced back to 3e later?

At least I was on 2e when I was on Eclair (DXJG4).

Most custom roms would have recovery 2e and CWM in them.

For roms obtain through samfirmware and kies, these will not have recovery 2e.

I actually don't know, first time I had roaming with this phone.

Yes, I've already knew that.

Aside from telling me what I already know, why not advise on converting 3e to 2e, safely?  tongue.gif

well you are asking if rom manager doesnt support 3e......... so i answer.....

search at xda for 2e recovery files, place recovery folder in xbin and recovery in bin, this can be done using root explorer

theres no staright foward way for our dxjpa

where you get that file... kinda notice the " . " at the start of it hmm.gif kinda familiar tongue.gif
yes i think so that the file

i know about the cf-root but it doesnt have our dxjpa version, i dont know if you are on other firmware, sorry i didnt mention it if that the case

aiya i dont know la got or not for our dx firmware, old guy like do all the stuff manually, add one by one.

if you want to do it manually paste the recovery that is in recovery 2e/recovery to bin folder
and paste the recovery folder that is in recovery 2e/xbin/recovery into xbin

guys have a question here... speedmod kernek k9a.. does it improve overall phone perfomance or just touchwiz? no idea why my launcherpro scrolling is laggy

I'm on speedmod kernel k-9a 256hz and also using launcher pro plus. What is laggy for you? Scrolling up and down in the app list? No problem for me there, I've even enabled 3D drawer.

Marketfix: try this fix if you have problems to find all apps on market (changed build.prop) FIX. install from CW recovery
NOTE: BUJP8 is a new rom, google have to register it so all apps can be used. Will take few days/weeks
NOTE2: Didn't work AT LEAST for me cry.gif

Install quadrant standard, then you can do the benchmark yourself. Download from the market.
