QUOTE(entity @ Nov 23 2010, 11:55 AM) Swype isn't as accurate in Froyo..too bad, I loved using it in Eclair. Had some crazy battery drain happening when I was asleep, but that was with 3G turned on..will see what happens tonight. Overall it's a good update, hopefully they'll continue releasing fixes in the future. Swype experience in eclaire is wiped off in Froyo. It needs to re-learn again. Give it time to accustom to your typing. Maybe you can check your battery history, see whether your gallery is running the whole night. I got experience gallery running never sleep all the time. Twice already since my upgrade to Froyo.

QUOTE(silentser @ Nov 23 2010, 11:07 PM) mine too, sometimes when play2 suddenly vibrate, then lag for few seconds, usually this means got some force close apps at the background, i try clearing out some stock bloatware see if that the cause of it I think this is your system alert which has been set to vibrate mode instead of sound. When I put silent mode, sometimes if there is an system error, it will vibrate as well.

QUOTE(StormZ @ Nov 23 2010, 11:17 PM) did it today, works just fine. You use the JPA kernel? Does it gives 2e recovery? QUOTE(MYstombox @ Nov 23 2010, 11:18 PM) Now am on EXT4 advance JPA We'll see how it runs. Added on November 23, 2010, 10:19 pmWorks fine too for me. Tried 2 days ago. QUOTE(MYstombox @ Nov 23 2010, 11:24 PM) No idea, I just flashed it. My titanium backup isn't working now though, says I lost root access. But.. I still have root access because other apps requiring it works. Wonder why. Solved it, I used the new kernel to apply root again. And it works now. Maybe it's busybox problem. Btw lch78, I use JPA kernel and flashed CF stuff also. But I think if you use the ULK lagfix also can, inside has 2e recovery all that. Ok. Thanks. I actually trying to restore 2e recovery to install unsigned update.zip file. Easier for me this way. ULK lagfix? First time I heard of this. Is it Universal Lagfix? (this is what google results return)

QUOTE(MYstombox @ Nov 23 2010, 11:42 PM) Yes universal lagfix, I got it from xda forums. Downloaded and used version 3.0, it has everything included. Recovery into 2e, root, etc. All inside this kernel. Flashing too like 7 seconds and apply lagfix was about 3 minutes. Re-root was another 30 seconds. Very good stuff. If I've downloaded this earlier, I wouldn't have downloaded CF's kernel. thanks for the advice. Think will try universal lagfix. I ll read on it first in the meantime.

QUOTE(del85 @ Nov 23 2010, 11:48 PM) At the android system recovery after i apply update.zip , it say's E: signature verification failed. Installation aborted. OCLF does not give 2e recovery. Been there, done that. To apply update.zip in Froyo, we need 2e recovery.

QUOTE(ken2291 @ Nov 24 2010, 12:01 AM) open it when u receive it?? what do u mean?? u put the files in your sd card then play?? SGS should be able to play avi files up to 720p without any prob Some .avi files coded with divx format cannot be played with stock video player. I install rockplayer and it can play every types of files that i have. But it has to be set to use software mode for it to play all files.

To use LP widgets I have to get Pro version. Hmmmmmmmmm..... Get the pro version. Just cost one starbucks coffee. The widgets are way nicer.
