yeah..mine is iphone4 la bro see my signature ..only when i knock or tap using finger at the behind baru sound..but not like u la 'shake' also got sound

since i already ask here and they said its normal summore test with MY FRIEND who are use 3gs also got sound like that..

p/s mybe u can try with ur friend who are using ip4..if same so no worries la bro

After upgrade ip4 to ios 4.2, i found that my usage and standby time is same.
Goto general->usage->time since last full charge
Usage : 9hrs 33 min
Standby: 9hrs 33 min

Any solution ?..

did u try..call someone..gayut2 around 20 minutes then compare again..is it same?

Yes also the same.. Call someone, surf the net, fb, play song.. But still the same.. What wrong, one more thing i notice my batery life more faster than before i upgrade.. Any one experience on this new ios 4.2. Or this is because my mobileme find iphone active.. Pening oo..

4.1 is good for you yo. 4.2 should be fine as well, but fast the consequences yo (applicable for JB boy only).

get afull cycle charge max 4 hours and disconnect and reboot the phone.
you acctually upgrade and didnt restore new firmware.
its happens sometimes.
battery drain issue on ip4 ? try to off some data push function and test back again.
if really cant,restore using 4.2.1 again with iTunes.

i would say 4.0 or 4.1 will be a stable.
since iphone 3g only good on running 3.1.3.other then that laggy.
Apple claims that iPhone 3gs 4x more fast processor built in.
So iOs 4.1 is not a problem.

Ok thanks.This is the sound I mean.Follow your instruction,where when I hold it near to my ear and tap on the back.This is the sound that I got.Knocking sound,so this mean that is a commons sound that have in iphone4.When I shake it,I can also hear this sound..

anyone facing problem like me when update to os4.2 then phone will stuck at recovery mode,,, i try so hard then only able kick out from recovery mode.

itune recover also fail,,, after kick out from recovery mode still os4.1

just an update-my update to 4.2.1 is okay. apart from the pros.. the cons are more obvious:

1. slow icon arrangement response (same nbr of apps during 4.1)
2. battery drain faster (3G always on during 4.1 and 4.2.1 now)

Same sound like me.. all iphone4 have this sound.. Another way to test is that, you place it near to your ear.. and use finger to tap/knock on the back at top part of the phone. This is the sound that you will get..So, conclusion. It is normal for iphone4

Was wondering if it's OK for me to plug my iPhone 4 to recharge ont he power plug or computer each time I'm at home not using it and leave it plugged on even when it's already full...will it shorten my iphone battery's life?

I'll try do full cycle recharge today..
By the way how to restore again the firmware 4.2 i've downloaded. Its erase all my iphone content/contact/etc ?

mine same. After upgrade to IOS4.2, i found out that my batteries drain faster compare to IOS4.1. Some more i cant activate my FACE TIME and always in waiting status. Any ideas? I using Celcom Micro Sim and iPHONE4 from DIGI. When using IOS4.1 i able to activate my FACE TIME

im using DIGI sim card on Maxis set... , no prob at all
