Just wondering is there any retail shop to pick up a Dell U2311H, rather than order it online? (No one to receive it at home during weekdays)

Guys, need some help. I'm trying to find a 24" monitor in a 16:10 aspect. Most of the monitors now are 1920x1080.

Can you guys point me in the right direction for a monitor at least 24" with 1920x1200 resolution? Unfortunately my budget does not exceed 1300. TN panels are ok with me.

The first thing that I saw this reply is, complains but as I read to the end, LOL...  sweat.gif

Anyway, this is why some people choose Dell, I like it also, and because 1 of my boss's client company choose Dell product, I also experience a chit-chat with the Dell technician as well and he answer some of my question really well, their service is top notch. wink.gif

Oh, there's some complaints as well last time about Dell, I guess they do improve from time to time. nod.gif

based on that their customer service here is top notch, however in other countries their are notoriously bad hmm.gif

16:10 slowly to absorb due to market demand. Too much people prefer 16:9 rather then 16:10. Sad case for User wanted 16:10 aspect model.

The last i saw is Fujitsu brand 24" TN by Hikari85. But she look like no more selling, product removed from her list =(

You can search "Dell Monitor" at "Trade Zone", there's one company that sells dell 23" below RM600, if not mistaken is JREnterprise.

for below RM600 there's the LG E2350T,though i highly recommend you adding RM50 more for Dell's U2311H.Better panel,better stand,better warranty,4 USB ports for only RM50 more. thumbup.gif

Most of pros here probably tiresome already with basically almost the same questions and answers over & over again. Any way

Short Answer: IPS panel (U2311h) >> TN panel (ST2320L)

Long Answer: read the previous version of this thread, if you have the time.http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1421464

Maybe kianwee can add to the 1st page the recent suggestion list of what monitor to buy, as well as what to look for when getting a LCD monitor and a little bit explanations of the technologies related to the LCD, if that is not too much of bother.

How much can you pour out from your pocket is another issue, the more the better, U2410 is another better one, more features and of course more $$ to spend to.
Dell IPS is value, not the best neither the worst, you can find those good one like iMac, expensive, premium, good looking as well, but that's you have the budget.
I'm not too sure which one the best out there, but those very very good one might only available through online purchase, overseas, expensive + heavy shipping, if you can pour that kind of money, it's worth every cents drool.gif

p/s: Better start using your mouse more by clicking each page and looking at U2311H comments/reviews... people here are pretty frustrated by that question sweat.gif

By looking at the price at Dell website also amaze me at first, but now I know why... U2311H does not inherit much of perfect viewing angle from its brother, could be the reason it's cheaper as well. sweat.gif
But overall the color production is on par with other IPS so.... brows.gif

Dell 2209WA is RM739. IPS panel too. Some forumers said that the panel quality might be better than U2311h. Anyway both are good. smile.gif
