My budget is less than rm800...which i doubt can get a 27". whistling.gif

I think you better don't upgrade at this time. smile.gif Your current monitor spec is good enough already and i doubt you could get anything to beat it with that budget. Better for you to save more money and get better monitor at later time. My 2 cent only.

*cucuk* 2 more dead pixels and I think can go warranty already LOL.
But Dell's one also need 6 "dead" pixels in order for RMA or exchange. The only guarantee is "bright" pixels which is not so common. doh.gif

You can't get 27" at RM800.
Stick with ur 2407WFP, and purchase one 40" LCD TV will be best.

If he can spend on 40" LCD then should be able to spend on one 27" or 24" new IPS panel, haha...

Yea, note that his current one is IPS panel. Also 16:10
40" LCD TV more suit his requirement. 24" to 27" with that price(Dell UltraSharp U2711 RM2700) kinda waste hmm.gif

Yes...most of the time use for media and seldom for gaming.
But watching movies not very satisfying....
This LCD already 5 years tech, i thought nowadays can get with that budget....at least 24" but with much better experience when watching 1080p media. hmm.gif

not really, the best you can get with that budget right now is the U2311H which still can't beat your 2407WFP.

Dell ST2420L, RM650 from JREnterprise (5 years advance exchange warranty)
opps... keep on advertising... gosh doh.gif

That's the best that I can find with that price range for 24", if you don't mind 1" lower, you can find tons of them locally, LG 23" is one of it, only RM5xx.
