You can change your background color via ur OS.

1)For Window 7, Right click your desktop, Click personalize>Window color>Advanced Appearance setting...>Under "Item", Choose "Window" Then select any color you like. >Apply. TaTa~ rclxms.gif

2)For IE background after change ur desktop background. Open IE, click Tools>Internet Option>Under "General" click "Accessibility"> Tick "Ignore colors specified on web pages" > OK. Tata~ rclxms.gif

3)For FireFox> Open FireFox> Tools>Options>Content>Under "Font & Colors" Click Colors...> Under Background choose any color you like> Untick "Allow pages to choose their own colors, instead of my selection above">OK. Tata~

just set to 30-40 would be fine, but i believe that it's up to individuals preference. just tweak until you feel comfortable with the brightness.

Ya, Dell U2311H is IPS quality sure win those LED monitor, but power consumption higher than LED monitor! I like LG E2360T LED cause low power consumption & good for our eyes if we using computer 10hrs+ per day. hmm.gif

the U2311H's power consumption isn't that high,it's just 33W compared to the LED backlit LCDs that range from 25-28W.

Hi, need some advice

I am thinking to go for 24" Toshiba Regza 24PB1E LCD TV for my monitor. around 699myr, is it a wise decision over the led monitor?

any recommended led monitor around 500 to 650?

thanks in advance

The U2311H have an anti glare coating too,in fact most desktop LCDs have this .Auto brightness?Based on my past experience on other devices auto brightness doesn't work properly,in the end i have to adjust the brightness myself. sweat.gif
