For RM600, go for Dell U2311H
Compared to BX2231: Pros: 1. IPS Panel (great image quality and viewing angle) 2. 23" (1.5 inches larger, size does matter  )Cons: 1. 8ms response (not that we can see the difference anyway) 2. CCFL backlight (not that it has any major impact on image quality, and IPS still pwn TN panel any time) 3. No speakers (built-in speakers are crappy anyway) 4. No HDMI (you have DVI-D which does the same thing, unless you want more connectivity for your PS3/XBOX360) |

as stated in the thread, the TS was able to claim the warranty straight from Dell for similar problem. did you call Dell to ask?
