HELP, my lcd monitor cacat ad...the screen goes blank after 2 seconds when its turned on..basically what i have to do is off/on the monitor over 20++ times in order to get the visual stable..

why is it like that??? dead capacitors?

Circuit board problem, warranty or just buy new one, not sure if anyone can repair but usually they just change the circuit board if there's any of the same model with a broken panel, etc.

Since it is a Premium Panel, you should be able to claim warranty for it even if it only has a single dead pixel.

Visit Dell's website and find the page to claim warranty.

Maybe got dirt on screen?

Maybe the backlight or power supply faulty. How old your monitor? warranty is the way.

Wanna ask you guys,I was planning to get the u2311H for both PC and PS3.Is it any good or is there any other better ones?Eyeing on some Samsung LED monitor as well.

If you buy U2311H, get a HDMI to DVI converter cable.
Samsung LED already come with HDMI port so you can just buy HDMI to HDMI cable.
If you were to ask me to compare Samsung LED with Dell U2311H, definitely going for U2311H, but Samsung has very pretty design, pretty much all that attract me, not the panel quality.

Dell warranty is one for one exchange.

They send you the replacement lcd then take back the old one.
You won't without lcd in between.

erm... how do u guys make settings for brightness, contrast and sharpness? and for the color section, gamma all those stuff, RGB, color temp? Now having a LG E2350T, bought yesterday at czone with RM530 anyone with this monitor can guide me with the setting? a little eye pain here... :S i can set myself, but i dunno what is the nicest setting.

Ya, me last time also like that, as a proof/claim.

Email them the photo, they replied, and sent the new LCD and took back the faulty old one.

it's among the best TN panel LCDs you can get,plus Samsung LCDs are typically more expensive than other even when they aren't the best.
