i'm wondering if the damage like this will warranty cover it? i wanna send the monitor to the acer centre if can. i like that monitor so much..

Beside your bed?

You fap on your bed?  rclxm9.gif

Guys, I just got my dell U2311h IPS monitor, native resolution looks great, but any other resolution doesnt look so nice in comparison (stretched and pixelated) , unless I use 4:3 ratio.

Got a quarter inch back light bleed on the top left corner, cannot claim warranty for this right? (Not that I mind, since most LCD have backlight bleed, regardless of quality)

I'm trying to calibrate my LCD with third party software to make it look naisss and smooveee, got any software recommendations? I'm not sure what to use. (I know hardware calibrate is the best, but I dont have the money) smile.gif

Bought online, deduct RM241 cash redemption, so only RM639 instead of RM880. (online only, no cash redemption for offline buy)

3 years premium panel 1 for 1 exchange warranty, even if got 1 dead pixel, u can exchange immediately, bery naisss, add another RM50 you get 5 years warranty.

Comes with DVI-D cable.

IPS panel, ultrasharp, bery sharp images, but the design is boxy and simple, no bling bling or round curves (doesnt matter, I dont buy it to look at the plastic encasing, that would be stupid)

Btw, dont on your PC when u sleep, the EMF radiating from the PC will interrupt your dreams and sleep and you will only get 3 hours REAL sleep out of 6 hours sleep, bad for health. sweat.gif

I tried dragon age origin, looks fine to me, color is vivid and naissss.

Havent tried any FPS games, but dont think ghosting will be that bad, even with 8ms, unless I have superman vision to spot milliseconds ghosting.

No major difference in watching movie. BUt i have to admit LED display tend to be brighter which somehow makes the display a lil bit 'cristal clear' effect. Em how to say eh,to put it simply, it produce brighter white. But other than that, u wont notice significant improvement in color performance, definitely no significant difference in watching movies. Even HD movies laugh.gif

Rather than comparing LED and normal LCD for the purpose of watching movie, you may want to compare other spec such as the panel type(IPS panel has wider angle view), size, screen type (glossy finish or matte finish) etc.
