Not neccessary, a standard flybarred heli is already good enough. For a beginner, the heli is crash because of their mistake, with it or without the stabilizer it will still crash.
Instead, i have heard that the cyclic response of 3G is quit fast, i think because without flybar the servo is driving the pitch/cyclic directly now. Correct me if i am wrong.
yup its quiet sensitive (optimized for 3D flying)....
Those are just for taiwanese .... Local sale in taiwan only. But i do agree that the prices after currency conversion are cheaper here in malaysia. Anyhow, compare to other country like US they are actually spending much more lesser than us to buy heli or parts. With the same earning amount (maybe higher than us), they pay a few hundred to get one 450 only .......
Just dismantled the 250 heli into pieces, damn the conditions of the parts really freak me out, have to replace around 30% of the parts i think, that's a cost to buy one brand new clone already. No more second hand heli in the future already unless i know the seller very well .........
yup true...the sze of the currency does play a role here....freakly little 250 u got there bro....
did i not say u almost always get what u pay ?? hehehe we live and learn lorr .. sometimes we have to pay to learn oso
cpmboy ... can hover properly in SIM yet or not ?? hover = stationary without the heli jumpipng all over the place and u can move the hovering heli to roughly the position u want and oso in different orientations .. hehehe if u can ... then it is time to do the real thing soon .. hahahahaaa
well bro....for 2 days in a row..finish practising and doing the Finless Bob's hover challenge 1....tail-in (30 sec), tail side (left/right) 30 secs & nose-in (30 seconds) hover...and landings (some crazy one...i even tried autorotation).....dunno bro....my dino is waiting caged inside my cart ..........wish me luck...

i forgot ... u have to master your landings too .. hehehe otherwise tipping over in landings will result in time and $$$
u got tat right...well...might use the training kit also he he..so tat my upcoming heli looks like a drone...
for my 1st heli build (I opt 4 trex 450 pro@sport...later lah) ....I am first looking at what tools and supplies I need for the build. I wanted to know if I should use the thread lock that comes in the kit or if I should buy the thread lock separately, same thing for the grease in the thrust bearing and auto hub....your guys building experiences are needed here.....

Yeap .... with just a hundred more than the price i paid for the second hand heli, I can have a ARTF brand new heli ....... that heli I think can only use it for spare part replacement .......
Just got the kit today .... going to build it later ...
happy building bro.....emm...now waiting for my solo pro v2.....just for fun2 before the big bird comes...he he he
solo has gotten lots of good reviews should be an excellent introduction into rc heli
aaah..ha...my little bugger...just arrived today......hvn test flight it yet..but so far the package is in good condition....maiden flight tommorow ( I'm among u guys wt the big birds)...well its my 1st FP heli (got 2 coax already...1 excellent, another one ...keep on when flying).......emmm...mybe I'll do a video of the flight....

u mean your parcel tahan by custom? How much did you pay for the tax and your heli how much?
Hmmmm, interesting .............
altogether wt some parts..RM 260+......sales tax ...RM 50........I emailed the custom ....sales tax abt 10% on toys categories ..but this one...20%. (frm total cost).......now waiting reply frm custom......anyway..... going to fly it today.....wish me luck
if you are very good in controlling the heli in the sim, i think should not be a big problem to fly FP heli
well mate....a bit shacky in its maiden flight but managed to get it as stable as possible (hv 2 adjust the trims more) .....just one comment....the heli seems to be leaning to the right (no movement) just leaning as like it was heavy on the right.............is this normal or maybe need to adjust somewhere.........well....experiment 2x....and ....many thanks to phoenix v3...
normally single rotors will lean to the left when taking off ... thats normal but dunno why yours lean to the right .. maybe too much trim ?? hehehe u trim when at least 3ft above ground ... not trim for takeoff procedure
congrats on your 1st hover .. hahahahaa
thx bro...anyway I found out that (from other solo flyers and from hover training video)....its normal to lean to the right bcoz of the counter balance from 2 forces (main rotor and tail rotor)....cheers
