QUOTE(daddoo @ Dec 9 2011, 08:18 AM) I think the heli price in malaysia is cheaper, shipping is only rm10 from kl. is it 4 450 heli?.......hv u tried gorilla paddle?...Talking about the trex series heli from align, most of it are lower in price after forex exchange. Added on December 12, 2011, 9:50 am Woooohooooo, had my flybar paddle slanted that day in a flight and almost crashing the heli because i was not aware. No wonder the heli like not listening to my stick so after 5min i landed the heli and then only i saw that. Battery was so hot and the ESC as well, luckily ESC did not shut down even though it is placed under the battery tray. After that, replace my stock paddle with the CF one (Tarot CF paddle) and the next flight, wow the flipping make me feel like almost a FBL heli. Faster and nicer so I recommend to you guys if you are ready to do maneuver. Compare to the stock paddle which is 7.3g weight, tarot's one is only 3.6g so it is really really light. |

QUOTE(QiW @ Dec 16 2011, 08:59 AM) quad is almost same price as playing with 450 heli maybe a little more depending on what u wanna do next year planning...going quad if hv the $$$$$......and for sure...airplanes he he......well....latest news.....finally after a very long & boring lay off (after the 1st crash)....and I considered it my official 1st full hover ...yeaa!!....this time at my school open air hall....nice place to be for a beginner.....the heli take off nicely, tail look very solid..no wag at all...no trim needed....and the sweet sound of the motor & blades spinning is like a rock music man......simply..very happy today...and..o how I love the Gorilla landing skid...hoping is fun....but...sadly I have no one to take video of it...o well next time...if u DIY then for sure will be much cheaper than 450 heli la .. my DIY quad only cost me rm400+ not including rx and batt la .. hahahaha or u can go for (my recommendation gaui 330 or 500) ... rm1150 and 1600 respectively ... QUOTE(daddoo @ Dec 19 2011, 09:20 AM) Congratulation, that's really a big milestone!! thx....just a low 3'-4' hover.....and...looks like good weather today... The next blade spinning sound you would love to hear would be the negative pitch one. It sounds like a low pitch trumpet but damn nice if you can control your heli to generate that kind of sound. |

QUOTE(QiW @ Dec 26 2011, 05:14 AM) very good hover already ... take those ping pong balls OFF ... they hinder more than they help IMO Will do.....its just my 4th short flight (30 minutes/flight)......oo....thats a solo pro landing he he he.....lazy me......another tip .. i noticed u still unsure about the throttle when u are about to land ... just cut throttle the moment copter touches ground and dont move the cyclic (unless u are already starting to tip over .. hehehe) .. that will help in NOT TIPPING OVER without ping pong balls ... hehehe This post has been edited by cpmboy: Dec 26 2011, 06:54 PM |

QUOTE(zaku90 @ May 25 2012, 10:26 PM) anybody can explain to me what is the different effect if i change the connecting thing on the swashplate to the shorter like in this picture?? originally it is on the longer one.. I readed somewhere in some forums, saying that the short and longer ball links at the swash determine the cyclic movement whether you want it to be more responsive or less responsive...I forgot where it was....rcgroup???![]() Added on May 25, 2012, 11:41 pm QUOTE(QiW @ May 25 2012, 08:02 PM) get what ? i mean the heli and yup, I knew that already (MyRcMart also got...V911)......the canopy or the heli ?? hahahaha both available in hobbyking if u cannot find a seller/dealer near u its known as FP100 in HBK .. have a look This post has been edited by cpmboy: May 25 2012, 11:41 PM |
