it will be very very minor and not noticeable ...
almost 90 is good enuff laa ... when u fly very very very precise and totally no wind then MAYBE u might "feel" a very very very slight difference in cyclic speeds ..
99.99% of flyers in the world will prolly never feel it laa .. coz we never ever fly in perfect conditions and when we do fly oso the speed of the heli so fast u will not see any difference in cyclic speeds of a certain direction anymore .. hahahhhaa
just get it to as close a 90 as u can then ok liau

charged up 4 batts for the PRO tomoro .. looks like heli is back in for me .. as long as i dont crash it la .. hahahaha

Sim only recognise 4 channel input ie. roll pitch yaw throttle.. not ccpm.
so u need to create new 4 channel model for the sim. set the expo & travel same as yr ccpm if u wanna feel as close to yr ccpm

hi guys...

he he....quiet bz after raya la ...... sorry to dispntd u guys again...now I'm in super turtle mode...but.....I think I can finish it this week......well...although going slow...I found it to be quiet relaxing and the build can be quiet pricise coz I'm not in a hurry or anything......would u believe it.. I'm just into leveling the swash plate ha ha ha....going slow bro's.....oo...btw I 0.5 cent Q....to level the swash...emm...would I use the trim only @ adjust the linkage only @ combination of both??......and at this stage ..do I need to key in the idle/normal pitch/throttle value or later?...................

idle up and normal are inter related ...
so set up radio in all modes 1st ... including throttle hold

1 >> 90 your servo arms the best u can
2 >> level your swash at mid stick mechanically with arms the best u can
3 >> fine adjustment using sub trim only if necessary
4 >> go fly the heli .. hahaahhahaa

if i did not give up i have to spend $$$$$, end up costing me more than the price of a Align Trex 250 by just upgrading from a clone.

Hehehehe, dun want to waste time and waste money ......

what kv and diameter and length and power handling of your 250 motor
and what ESC ?
motor most prolly i think can .. but only with small prop ... 4.5x4.5 (or maybe even 4.1x4.1 if your motor heating up too much) nothing more than that but the ESC i think u will need at least 40A la to be safe

u sure u can handle the funjet ? being able to fly the cessna is nothing like handling the funjet .. but it is SERIOUS FUN la the funjet .. hahahaaha

ooh ... the original align motor
definitely nothing more than 4.1x4.1 prop ... i think 40a ESC should be good enough
i foresee main problem is trying to find a prop adapter for the 2.5mm shaft .. current common adapters are 2.3/3.0/3.17/4.0 ... u cannot put some tape around the shaft to make it fit a 3mm adapter so dont try .. the whole thing will fly out .. hehehehe
if u do manage to find an adapter for it .. estimated top speed will be around 2400m/min ... apprx 144kmh ... based on 70-72% efficiency

if u wanna put for zagi .. then u will have to reverse the shaft if use ori mounting .. if u change/mod the mounting to skyfun one then no need to reverse shaft .. prop same 4.1x4.1

main worry is the motor might not be able to take the power load and then burn itself out ... so if u really wanna try ... do not full throttle 1st .. fly at around 50% throttle and check motor temp after landing

Added on September 8, 2011, 9:08 amor if u have a watt meter then better la ... then base it on 180w/17a load
in the air the load is much lesser than on the ground ...

or if u really wanna go funjet .. do this budget power setup
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/u...?idproduct=8138
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/u...idproduct=12189
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/u...?idproduct=7937
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/u...p?idproduct=662

it will happily go to around 170kmh without much trouble .. u will need 3S 2200mah 35C la to do that .. if u full throttle all the time then land after 1.5-2min or else be prepared to run out of batt and go pick up plane .. hahahahahaa
if just cruising around and occasional full throttle .. 5mins should be good

opssss .... appreciate your info but I think I just want to use my existing electronics instead of doing nothing with it, if my HK250 cant really fly .......

Hehehehe, not going to invest more because I am planning to save $$$$ for bigger heli later on .....
