You're comparing a FX lens and DX lens.

Anyway, both don't have VR.

But something is still bothering me...
Whats the Diff between a 50 f/1.4D and a 50 f/1.4G?
Both 'G' and 'D' rclxub.gif

In a simple term, f/1.4G got motor inside the lens while f/1.4D doesn't have.

And apparently the G has better CA control. (Feedback from my friend who used the D before going to the G on D3).

G is AF-S, so that can autofocus on lower end body whereas D cant

Both 2470 and 1755 don't have VR. But 2470 have Nano crystal coat.
1755 don't have Nano crystal coat.

In my opinion, just go for 2470, because it's a FX lens. Think for a long term, who knows you're jumping to full frame, then 1755 gonna be a waste, no? biggrin.gif

Nano coating can reduce flare, how much will it helps? hmm.gif
