did you use battery grip...? i heard adding battery grip will help balance up the center of the weight... but i have try that though...
*
battery grip help alot. providing ur hand a larger gripping surface and weight balance.

u might not need a 85mm thou the big F is great.
an ultra wide should be more useful for ur need. smile.gif

depends on the spec and price of the new FX body.... i'm not that urge on body for time being... lenses interest me more.... biggrin.gif

but if i do change... the next body will definitely be FX... i guess same goes to you...?
*
hah. if budget allowed...

cause of the f4...? but that lens is razor shape as well...

i did realized bro celciuz shooting style is more towards half body close up.... so the range of 16-35 might not do the job for him....
*
f4 are good enough for me. d sharpness are great. for a hobbiest gearhead. smile.gif
unless i need it for commercial output.

So KTCY , What you probally recommend me for a good budget lens around 1.5k ?  sad.gif
*
AFS 50mm f1.4 G

or ditch ur BG and get a ultra wide. XD

hah.... there's always room for interest....

how's your new 24-120....? loving it...?
*
yup. easy to handle with the weight and carry around.
nice f4 for my need.
good companion to my tokina 116 smile.gif

but gotta get a new filter when back KL...
so toki is now bare naked without any filter.

chill bro...
its only minor accident...
but can't sleep for 2 nights...
are u from aloq staq???

guys...
i'm looking for wide lens...
which is better...
tokina...tamron....or........nikkor (too expensive for me)....
*
if u're refering to the DX line up
tokina and sigma are good in term of IQ.
Nikkor 10-24 & 12-24 has more sharpness and soft at the corner.
although they might hav a better focus compare to any third party and come with a bigger price tag.

the 90/100/105 should be a good one for starter lah.. because the result from SP90 is satisying but the 105mm surely is a killer macro..

like this one, kelmarin dulu punya:

alang2 mau poison terus lah kasi habis duit... go for D700, 2470, 200mm macro, and those B+W filters  thumbup.gif

I saw this thread before u posted here.... I was wondering that guys is crazy.... who would pay extra 1k compared to a new unit of VRII, I really hope Nikon will come up with a grey version of VRII, hahaa.... How much premium u paid for ur grey unit compared to the normal black one?
*
doesnt know d grey could be so premium....like he mention.
but his photo doesnt justify his "almost like new" statement

Maybe I can try the shop at Plaza Angsana yawn.gif
*
try Angsana or go down S'pore.
guess there's lotta options and poison.

well, try Funan IT Mall. John 3:16
the price might not be the best, diff by small amount.
but i'm sure u can find the best customer service there.

well, the worst service i ever encounter from a shop in SLS is..
the shopkeeper ask : "u confirm u wan to buy or not 1st. else i cant open to box for u to try"...
and i just giv him d wtf face and walk out...while he try to compensate back wat he said by they dun hav a test sample here bla bla bla...

if u shoot for hobby only.

lets the 50mm cover the normal range and zoom with ur foot.
