fauzi is poor for that goal.....tons of reasons...

SHORT
POOR CONCENTRATION
POOR POSITIONING
0% OF AWARENESS

how on earth u can gv a person who is quite good at his header qualities, heading the ball like a free header...

not a national qualities...
even boys like 20 years of age can play much more better..

Malaysia cannot play long short game, one of the main reason is SHORT. Singapore tall defenders can control long short game well , so we must use speed to beat them. smile.gif

Hmm i think FAM should open "Defending School" in their youth setup..every day their training method is defensive one..everyday learn how to head ball, everyday learn how to make offside trap..everyday learn the same defending stuff..then hopefully we can be defensively steady!

Fluke or not, Hardi has a lethal left foot. Remember that freekick against China that nearly flew half the pitch into the goal. The keeper was so suprised he sat on the pitch wondering what hit him

A goal is a goal. what ever happens, we should have learn how to defend it. after our goal, we play as if we were leading 4 - 0. thats bad..as i said before, we let them sporeans players space to play which costed us.
hopefully history repeats itself, we beat them in their ground 4-0 before, and we'll do it again!!!! biggrin.gif

i beg to differ. i think that was the correct mentality. y shud they slow down? c wut happen to my fav team (ManUtd) the other day when they slow down? arsenal came back n score 2 goals in the last 10 mins.

what they did was correct. they din wanna sporeans to settle down n kept attacking the ball.even after msia goal, they weren't threatening our goal at all. jz that lapse of concentration coz they wanna make a change (khyril wanted to come on already). players are putting their hands up n sporeans jz played on without care. was a bit disappointing. but i'd applaud them. they tried to go for the kill (remember they are playing at kallang stadium nx) even tho they din achieve it. thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

except for the Alam Shah's goal which was a free header, i think our defense did well especially both Khaironnisam and Norhafiz. calm and steady at the back. the truth is that our strikers didn't do well enough to threaten the Singaporean defense. the finishings were just disappointing and the crosses weren't as good as we thought as well.

Other than Liew Kit Kong, no other Chinese players looks worthy of a call up. Or do you have any other names?
Anyways, at least we still stick to local, and don't have players named Bennet or Precious in our line up
