start/stop button, traction control (TCS, ESP), 6 airbags, rear mirror auto dim or something...

of course inspira fight back with auto headlamps and auto wipers but that is about it...
*
the only useful feature i see is the airbags, other r pretty much useless tongue.gif last time my 97 wira oso got rear mirror auto dim. biggrin.gif

wat important is the driving...inspira more focus on being a car...
but forte r more focus on being a toy tongue.gif ,juz ask urself if the start/stop and the auto dim failure in the future r u even bother to repair it? biggrin.gif

No CVT, just plain 6 speed convention auto box. No idea on new features - the current Forte already filled with features. Hope to have HID with auto-leveling, hydrophilic windscreen.

SA is dumb most of the time. CVVT engine yes maybe but not CVT gearbox. Just like Nissan SA keep saying their engine got CVT just like VVT-i. And another Nissan SA keep saying their gearbox is CVVT.

Read about Hyundai CVT... so far used in Elantra hybrid. And plans to use the transmission on 'smaller' models. Since you said so as well, then I believe 2011 Forte would be CVT. Cool!

Weird that others country Forte facelift is having conventional 6spd auto gearbox.

p/s: If that so, then Hyundai's SA is better than Nissan's. laugh.gif

I still doubt that the FL Forte will be having 6 speed CVT... most likely 6 speed conventional gearbox.

You can refer to this link http://kia-buzz.com/?p=6300

Added on January 4, 2011, 8:36 amWiki also stated the 2010 Forte having 6 speed transmission

hmmmm....guess HQ also knws nothing....
but at least a better 6spd conventional GB....
i think the 2.0 forte can fix proton's CVT gb right?? since they shared the same 4B11 engine block....not sure bt 1.6, hopefully can too...

They might share the GEMA stuff but mounting can be different. I like CVT more than dual-clutches.

But I feel with the CVT there isn't the thrill of driving especially during the shifting phases as well as the lack of engine braking as well. Feels weird driving a CVT the other day. It felt as if there is only 1 gear for the car.
