Issit a trend of Forte owner to put Lexus badge? Saw about 4 Forte with Lexus badge while driving to Penang.

yeah, its really nice... I dun see much L logo that u said though... hmm.gif maybe I should look
around for the L logo... which I think its lame to slap Lexus logo onto a forte...lol

Maybe the owner think its the same logo. The 'K' really looks like 'L'.

it's K logo. but there is an owner who put Lexus emblem on his/her ride. really put a shame to her/himself.

it's not official logo. Owner (especially owner who active in club/forum) did change them to match car looks.

now still best time to grab CBU units Forte. If not mistaken, CKD Forte will commence after Q2 2012.
Juz try to wait for facelift Forte, with 6spd GB and new 1.6 engine(all same as 2011 Avante)..currently still using 4spd GB and Upgraded Spectra5 engine. but delivers good FC than spectra5 itself...

yup, forte tyres also from Korea, but is low profile tyres(Kumho Solus KH17 215/45/R17). and also very noisy tyres.....
After u get forte, there are 2 common problems u might face.
1. car tend to go to the left by itself(Alignment and balancing problem). why?? cause in korea is left hand drive, and they made it right hand drive for us.
2. Headlamp foggy issue(some said water vapor).....will disappear after few weeks or few mths....(normal for imported cars including Audi, BMW, and Mercedes) due to temperature here.
Headlamp itself needs to get used to our temperature, for that, u hv 2 b patience for few weeks or months.

i guess if i'm not in hurry, i might as well wait till 3rd quarter of 2011 and see by then forte will release the 6spd GB or chk out the Hyundai Avante 2011 huh...

Anyhow, cant wait to test drive inspira also.

I own a 2.0 and it does 13.5km/l and its quite ok for a 2.0 in 70% city 30% highway.

We have 1.6 owners getting below 6.0l/100km in 100% city drive

i think since both is about the same price, their difference is quite straight forward

airbags= 2 vs 6
aircon= manual vs auto

any isofix in inspira?

seat fold down for forte.

both are global car, both are in US, and forte is with a better interior.

Well, to be frank, 90k for a local car is a little steep. 3 years later, ppl only remember you're driving a local car( be it saga or perdana). smile.gif

forte is no better than lancer, so how can it be better than inspira since inspira is an improved lancer?
