Well im driving a forte..so you'll know my answer..hahaha forte has very big boot and spacious interior..whereelse the polo is a small hatchback so it's not so spacious.Honestly if you let me choose I will choose forte 2.0..or the Chevrolet cruze! But end of the day it's up to you..go test drive both cars..vw polo interior is abit too basic for me..whereelse forte and cruze interior is nice and full of wonderful features that can make passengers/friends go WOW SO COOL!! wink.gif

Seeking for professional advice regarding cars
i'm stuck between polo and forte
prices are almost the same
which car is more reliable and value for money?
co-operation is highly appreciated.

Personally if I were looking for an everyday car to use and something practical, I will choose the Forte because of it's size and larger boot (heck I need the boot space for my golf clubs anyway tongue.gif). Definitely the Forte will be more value for money because you will be getting a lot more practicalities as well as gadgets if that is how you perceive value.

Having said that, different people have different judgement on value. To some, the true value of a car is the sheer brilliance of the driving experience, the accelerating feel and being able to take on those corners with the confidence that your car will be stable. To others, value comes in the form of how the car will be able to serve their needs as well as the needs of the family members. So how do you perceive value?

In terms of reliability, I think its too early to say anything for the Polo because having just launched last year, there aren't enough cars on the road to give a good statistic. But VW offers a 5-year warranty program with the Polo so you can be rest assured there.

different people have different perception
the definition of value is a very subjective thing and it depends on individual
i tend to favor the volkswagen and that's the major problem
i scare that my biasness may lead me into trouble one day
anyone provide me with more explicit information on both of these car.haha

And a never ending stupid comments like "Inspira FTW" thats all comment. Inspira-fans,Kopitiam-ers, you don't get additional post counts for that.

Inspira is like buying a pirated DVD. It's not a proudly own-designed car. Only GEN2,Persona,Satria Neo are like home-breed designs.

I am not going to vote for any of them in this poll. Enough said. Surely the poll for INSPIRA is higher because of forumer's support for the pirated-copy car.

I will need a little more substance in a reply than 'yea'. It's not different than just replying with an emoticon esp when it appears in the middle of a discussion.

Inspira is same segment as Forte lar...both are comparable C segment. The price of Forte 2.0 isn't that far off from Inspira 2.0, so question of insane tax like City and Dugong is not an issue. IMO, both cars are good buy...just see which one you like more. The engine in both Inspira comes from the same branch of the World Engine with modification by Hyundai and Mitsubishi to their own version. KIA has improved a lot in the Forte and making waves worldwide...but i believe it's the 2.0 or 2.4cc version that is making the waves...not the local stripped down 1.6 which i feel is pretty underpower after test driving.

I have made a decision to go with Inspira after much dabbling, mainly because i don't trust NAZA support, at least for Proton, their MD DSZ is very out spoken and dedicated to improve Proton and can be contacted in case you have a serious complain. And also i like Proton Ride and Handling™ much better....smile.gif But i actually much prefer the Forte sexy design (except the rear is too high for my liking) over the older Inspira/Lancer exterior outlook.

Both cars are good buy over expensive junk like City and Dugong...seriously!! Whichever you choose, both are good buy!

Depends on your budget lor. But my advice is, don't buy Forte 1.6. Either buy forte 2.0, Inspira 2.0 or Inspiria 1.8.
The forte 1.6 use the old Spectra engine and is pretty underpower.
You should go test drive all these cars before making a decision.
