conclusion of the story
CIVIC 2.0 IS THE BEST
BUT EXPENSIVE.
*
civic is best, as it is out of reach of common ppl. u go civic forum, also a lot of complains.

i dont see much ppl complains about bmw and merc , spare part problems, second hand value and so on. Hem. Probably they spend their time making money, rather than make noise in forum.

yea, inspira is great, just like Perdana. from spare part to second hand value, will be like perdana . smile.gif

You are wrong!! EON service Mit Lancer, now service Lancer CKD, Inspira.

You like it or not, the fact of Mit and Proton relationship is : One willing to buy, One willing to sell, end up both earn money and live happily.
*
not to pour cold water, but how do you think of perdana? yes, it is cheaper than camry by 40k. so....

to me, this inspira will have the same fate like perdana.

how do you think of perdana?

I think ppl care too much about resale value, and deviated from the purpose they wanna buy a car. They care less about safety, and everything .

1. Resale ( cos they wanna change car even when they cannot really afford that)

Usually only cheaper car have better resale value . Altis and VIos may cost the same after 5 yrs.

And inspira is same like saga and wira, all are lancer. Same resell as perdana. Wait perdana is skd, everything from japan u know

For safety rating since both cars is selling in USA you can go google. But inspira cannot compare directly with lancer there cos there lancer has more airbag but forte here is 6 airbags. Ncap rating is in the net. Wat a joke go google but dun look for inspira la, haha, not in database la that name

Only ppl in Malaysia put there head under the sand and tells you more air bag doesn't mean-anything. But in uk us all cars are putting in more and more airbag. P1 gives you 2 airbag doesn't mean it's standard practice ok? Look around before discrediting stuff that you do not have. Might as well drive motorbike with 2 raincoats.

Again, how safety is forte? Based on paper say so or anyone who suppose to "gone" due to accident but not "gone" ?
Inspira (at this pont of time) is difference then other other proton model. It copy from engine, to gearbox until RIGID body which is NCAP 5 star (if not mistaken). If not so much similiar with Lancer, Mitsubishi will not stop proton to export the model to some of country.
*
If they use cheaper material that will jeopardize the brand, that will also stop Mitsubishi from letting p1 to export it. And no unless p1 is officially mfg the car for them or paying a loyalty , otherwise you think Mitsubishi stupid?

Like allow china fake factory export croc shoes to msia and sell in other name at cheaper price. Will you allow that to happen?Man you guys are really blindly loyal.

We live in Malaysia, those frm other countries la, TS ask in LYN so the results here in LYN is clear liao. If TS want opinions from other forums or countries , pls go there and butthurt there, not here, here is LYN. V in Malaysia so Inspira will always win. If u don't like Malaysia, U BOLEH KELUAR!!! Haha, sorry can't stand the temptation to write this  tongue.gif

lol. inspira win. lol. but p1 no longer enjoy the image when its the saga era or wira era.

ask around how ppl think of P1.

they will ask u why not buy p2.

lol.

some they think they bought a macho car. but to some, its like, since u cannot afford T/H, why not P2, why P1? lol.

really, ask around.

i asked eveyrone in my office. thats what they told me. well, thats just me. smile.gif

CVT VS 6 speed auto.

if inspira uses CVT is because they wanna emphasize on FC, then, seems like no point of putting in evo X bodykit, lol.

Hi All, New to this forum. Just decided to buy Inspira but my love for Forte will never end. It is such a tough decision to make.

For people who is buying City or Vios claiming the resell value is good. My comment will be; yes no doubt the resell value is good but do not forget that if you compare what you get with the same price you pay for an Inspira or Forte, you get much more. They are basically paying upfront of maybe RM10k and get back the RM10k when they sell their car. So, why wanna deposit the money to the car market? I rather keep the money and get more value from my money.
*
mind to share why you choose inspira over forte? i'm bugging by this also. how's the interest rate you got?

----------------------
some choose popular color , but not their favourite color, becos popular color=better resale value. smile.gif

they buy the car to sell in future, not to enjoy driving. might as well dont open the plastic bag of the seat to get better resale value, lol.

Actually I have tested the Forte 2.0 FL but not the Inspira. How is the ride on highway? Is it as good as Forte? Like the feeling of the car is floating in the air where car like Toyota gave.
*
i have this dilemma, so i'm gonna test drive inspira kao kao and see whats the hype, its like a lotus elise in another body(the way they mentioned).

Last weekend I was driving my Felali and a Genting bus overtook my Felali. sweat.gif

I think the Genting bus must be having the Hill Climb Assist technology in order to climb the Genting hill with ease and overtake my Felali. doh.gif

I personally think that the Forte (despite it not being a good drive) is a better car than the Inspira.

I felt that the Forte was a bit more comfy (when I test a car, I tend sit everywhere.. driver, passenger, back seats except boot.. heh).

I think that the Forte has better specs.

Last but not least... doing the maths, Forte's 2.65% vs 3.5% interest rates for Proton kinda seals the deal.. if I was buying a Forte.

For that kinda money, I'm now considering the petrol variant of Ford Focus with 0% interest and 3 year (or 60k km) free service... besides being a better car to drive, nothing beats a 2.0 driving experience (except the Golf TSI so far and the PUG 308THP comes close) despite it being an older model with crap features and date looks. laugh.gif

no offence, just my 2 sen.

too bad the gear is 4 speed.

if its 6 speed, then, its great.

how much are they selling? 110k for 0% ?

yea. although never owned it, or test drive it, but the features....are really GREAT!!!
I think in FC wise, for 1.6 is much more better than my 4spd counterpart(unless i swap my GB and ECU 2 6spder)

no need la, next time, upgrade to kia optima la. in top gear magazine ^^

no la, pre register is those car ford cannot sell, they register it first, so they can sell to you at second hand price, thus very very cheap, and with warranty. and the car is usually registered to ford one(not sure about this)

you see the mileage very very low one, and the car very veyr cheap ^^
