Ok, I hope you won't bother with the focusing noise. Enjoy your lens though. This post has been edited by joejoe2004: Nov 22 2010, 08:46 PM |

porkchop: Then you'd know the Samyang/Sigma/Minolta/Zeiss 85mm F1.4 would be sweeter.
azamunekurone: Nice! Though the top-lit wood a bit cliche. longpants: Lovely, could use a bit more crop to avoid the barrelling on the edges. fatnir: The Sony 75-300mm F4.5-5.6 is on average selling for under RM500 second-hand. freaky_deity: I like the idea in #1! destfull: Post-processing not suitable for this I'd think. laszlo: Nicely done! |

ahpingko: I don't like to use anything F6.3 and above for sure when shooting dinner, unless it's group shots. All depends on the ceiling "height" of the venue, if it's low then just set your flash to bounce with everything auto is pretty much sufficient. Adjust flash compensation if needed (if you don't plan to fiddle with full manual controls).

No need f8. Try F5.6 or F4 if your lens can support it. ISO 1600 or ISO 1000 to ISO 1250 if you cam can support it and up the EV to +0.33. Flash to auto. |
